Welcome to the Maumee Valley Country Day School Winterim Web site. Each year Winterim enables students in the Upper School to engage in intensive learning, to study one subject in depth. The intensive format allows the school to take advantage of community resources, to be responsive to student needs and interests, to offer serious independent study opportunities, and to experiment with different places and styles of learning. This site is dedicated to Winterim, past and present. You can search through a database of Winterims that have been offered in the past, learn about the history of Winterim, or take a look at the courses that are currently being offered.

Much of this website and the catalog of Winterim courses (1978-2001) were created by Javad Sanati ('02) as a part of his 2001 Independent Study Winterim.
